Sri Kamatchi Jewellers was founded in 1988 by Shrinivasan and Murugananthan on Madurai's legendary South Avani Moola Street — the city's gold street, in the shadow of the Meenakshi Amman Temple.

What began as a 48 square-foot shop has grown into a full-service jewellery house, now carried forward by second-generation owners S. Kavsick Kumar and M. Gowtham Raj — with the same founding promise: certified quality, honest price, and care that outlasts the purchase.
